Handy: Flashlight & Tools ("the App") is developed by Starline Studio ("we"). This policy explains what information the App handles and how. The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information on our own servers. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising ID, app-interaction data, and diagnostic/crash information to deliver and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
2. Advertising & your choices
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK) before showing personalised ads. If you decline, you may still see non-personalised ads. You can reset your advertising ID in your device settings.
3. Permissions
Permissions are requested only when a feature needs them:
- Camera — flashlight, magnifier, mirror, QR scanner, colour picker.
- Microphone — sound meter, voice recorder, find-my-phone, music light (only while open).
- Physical activity — step counter only.
- Notifications — timer/alarm alerts.
- Notification access (optional) — only if you enable "Flash on notification".
4. Data stored on your device
Notes, tally counts, settings and voice recordings are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to us.
5. Third-party services
The App uses Google AdMob (advertising) and Google's User Messaging Platform (consent), governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
6. Children
The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
